Sunny Matharu

Sunny Matharu has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Sunny started their career as a Test Analyst at Atos Origin in 2005. Sunny then moved on to work as a Java Developer and SAS Developer for the same company, where they implemented and stabilized various bespoke Java solutions. In 2007, Sunny joined Deloitte Digital as a Consultant, where they served as a senior developer and implemented a mobile application for field sales representatives. Sunny also played a key role in implementing Agile tools and methods for development streams. Sunny continued their journey at Deloitte Digital as a Technical Architect, responsible for global, multi-vendor CoE implementations and providing architecture direction on Salesforce for the Life Sciences sector. In 2017, they joined BumbleBean Limited as a Director, where they served as a Technical Architect and Delivery Manager for car leasing and real estate services companies. Following this, they worked at Cognizant as an Associate Director and UK CoE lead, where they led Salesforce implementations in the Financial Services sector and trained and audited firm-wide engagements. Most recently, Sunny has been serving as the CTO at ThirdEye Consulting since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Slalom as a Technical Architect. Overall, Sunny Matharu has gained extensive experience in technical architecture, Salesforce implementation, project management, and leadership roles throughout their career.

Sunny Matharu attended Royal Holloway, University of London from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc Hons) degree in Computer Science. In terms of additional certifications, Sunny Matharu has obtained various Salesforce certifications, including Salesforce Certified Field Service Lightning Consultant in March 2019, Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant in December 2018, and Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant in September 2018. They also achieved certifications such as Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant in August 2017, Salesforce Certified Identity and Access Management Designer in February 2017, Salesforce Certified System Architect in February 2017, and Salesforce Certified Application Architect in December 2016. Other certifications include Salesforce Certified Data Architecture & Management Designer in December 2016, Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer in October 2016, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Designer in September 2016, Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer in August 2016, Salesforce Certified Administrator in July 2016, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I in July 2016, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder in June 2016, and Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in August 2014. Additionally, Sunny Matharu obtained the Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer certification in June 2015.
