Emily Read is a legal professional currently serving as Legal Counsel at Thirdway since December 2023. Previously, Emily worked at White & Black Limited from September 2019 to December 2023 as a Legal Associate and Trainee Solicitor. Earlier experience includes a Paralegal role in the Private Wealth & Disputes team at Mishcon de Reya LLP (March 2017 - August 2018) and various internships, including a Litigation Paralegal position for the VW Emissions Action Litigation case at Harcus Sinclair LLP in January 2017. Emily also interned as a Paralegal at LGC and as an intern at Ross & Co LLP, focusing on international commercial disputes, as well as at The Sunday Times. Prior to transitioning to the legal field, Emily spent ten years as a Court Attendant and Team Leader at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course from BPP Law School and a Bachelor’s Degree in Classics from the University of Bristol.
