Maged Rifaat is currently a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Thirdwayv Inc., specializing in low-level systems design and development for embedded systems. Maged has a diverse background in software engineering, including experience in web development, machine learning, and game development. Maged contributed to the GNU Octave project in GSoC 2022, enhancing TIFF image support, and also participated in GSoC 2020 with LabLua, where Maged added support for the Céu Programming Language in the Arduino IDE. Maged holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Mansoura University.
