Joaquim Verges

Joaquim Verges has been working in the tech industry since 2010. Joaquim started their career as a Web Developer at Sopra Group, where they were a Typo3 and Liferay expert. In 2012, they moved to iD.apps as a Lead Android Developer. Joaquim then joined upthere as an Android UI Engineer in 2013. In 2015, they joined Twitter as a Senior Android Engineer, working on Moments, Search, App re-design, Night mode, heart animations, transitions and more. In 2017, they moved to Twitch as a Senior Android Engineer. Joaquim is currently working at thirdweb as a Principal Software Engineer.

Joaquim Verges obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering from Grande Ecole d'Ingénieurs des Sciences et Technologies de l'Information et de la Communication between 2004 and 2010. Joaquim also earned a Master 1 degree in Embedded Systems from Delft University of Technology between 2008 and 2009.
