Adam Millard has a diverse range of work experience in finance and accounting. Adam started their career at Deloitte as a Manager, where they gained experience in consumer business assurance, advisory, and M&A transaction services. Adam then moved to Capita as a Senior Manager in the Group Finance function, where they focused on acquisition accounting, contract accounting, and other finance projects. After Capita, Adam worked as a Divisional Financial Controller at Link Asset Services, responsible for financial administration solutions. Adam then took on the role of Finance Director at ThirtyThree, an employer branding agency, and later at Matrix Security Watchdog, a digital background checking and screening business. Throughout their career, Adam has demonstrated strong financial skills and expertise in various sectors.

Adam Millard obtained a BSc First Class Honours Degree in Mathematics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. From 2008 to 2011, they attended ICAEW, where they obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification with first-time passes. Additionally, in September 2011, they obtained the ACA certification from ICAEW. Adam Millard also holds the FCA (Fellow Chartered Accountant) certification from ICAEW, which they obtained in November 2022.
