Yashar Nejati

Yashar Nejati is an experienced professional with a diverse background in entrepreneurship, advisory roles, and research. Currently serving as an Advisor at Goldsky since November 2022, Yashar co-founded and served as CEO of Uppercase from 2018 to 2024, providing tailored retail development and operations for brands such as Brooklinen and Figs. Previous positions include Advisor and Partner at On Deck, where Yashar was also Director for Canada, and Co-Founder & CEO of thisopenspace, a marketplace for creators, which was acquired. Additionally, Yashar founded Yummus Foods and conducted research at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on anticancer agents. Yashar holds a BBA and BSc in Marketing, Molecular Biology, and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University.
