Evan Pon

Evan Pon has worked in a variety of roles since 2000. Evan began their career as a Software Engineer at Rocket Network in 2000. In 2004, they moved to Tickle where they served as a Software Engineer, leading all the advertising efforts and co-developing a custom Java ad server. In 2006, they joined Ooga Labs as Director of Engineering, where they hired and managed 17 engineers and incubated 6 companies. In 2012, they co-founded Orange Door Armory, where they made iPhone games and worked on Goliath on EC2, DynamoDB, Redis/S3 caches, and WebSocket connections. In 2013, they joined Amazon as a Software Development Manager, working for the Goodreads subsidiary and managing a team of 9. In 2017, they moved to Conversa Health, first serving as VP of Engineering, then as Director of Engineering. Finally, in 2020, they joined Thistle as Director of Engineering.

Evan Pon attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a B.A. in Computer Science and Economics.
