Gary Gao

Gary Gao is a Private Equity Associate at THL Partners since July 2023, focusing on Financial Technology and Services. Previously, Gary served as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Deutsche Bank from July 2021 to June 2023. Gary's experience includes a role as Sector Leader at Bruin Value Investing and a summer analyst position at Deutsche Bank in July 2020. Earlier roles also include an analyst position at UConsulting and Vice President of Investment at the UCLA Undergraduate Investment Society. Gary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics/Economics from UCLA, having participated in the Benjamin Graham Value Investing Program, and attended Justin-Siena High School from 2014 to 2017.
