Daoud Chaaya

Daoud Chaaya has a vast work experience in the automotive industry, specifically in sales, aftermarket, and marketing roles. Daoud currently serves as the Vice President of Sales, Aftermarket, and Marketing at Thomas Built Buses since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Daimler Truck North America as an Executive in the Aftermarket division for the Southeast region of the United States from February 2018 to March 2022. Before that, they held a similar role at Daimler Truck & Bus Middle East and North Africa from May 2014 to February 2018. Daoud Chaaya's career at Daimler Truck North America started in 2003, where they held various positions, including Manager in the CFO Office from October 2009 to May 2014, Project Controller from June 2006 to October 2009, and Product Validation Engineer from September 2003 to June 2006.

Daoud Chaaya attended the International School of Choueifat from 1983 to 1997. Daoud then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) at the University of Portland from 1997 to 2001. After completing their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance from 2001 to 2003. In 2019, they also attended IMD, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.
