Ryan Gately has gained diverse engineering experience through various internships and projects. Most recently, Ryan worked as an Engineering Intern at Thomas Global Systems, contributing to the Simulation & Training Solutions division focused on defence training systems. Prior to that, Ryan held similar roles at XLR8 Player Development as a Soccer Coach and participated in a Vertically Integrated Project at UNSW, where Ryan collaborated on developing a robot for automating the disassembly of end-of-life products and designed a camera mount for a robotic arm. Additionally, Ryan served as a Market Research Interviewer at Kantar. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical and Manufacturing at UNSW, Ryan is furthering education at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from 2024 to 2025 after completing studies at Saint Ignatius' College Riverview from 2016 to 2021.
