Mike Barnes

Mike is a Principal and serves as Regional Director and Civil Manager for the Charlotte office. He joined Thomas & Hutton in 2016 with the opening of the Charlotte office, bringing 21 years of experience in project management for site development, water and wastewater, as well as management of institutional and commercial projects for both public and private entities throughout North Carolina. A licensed Professional Engineer and certified LEED Accredited Professional, Mike holds both a Master and Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering and Construction Management from North Carolina State University. He is a former member of the Board of Directors for Leadership North Carolina, member of the Membership Committee of CPN of North Carolina, and a Board of Advisor level member of the Charlotte Chamber.
