Andrew Wright

Andrew Wright has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Andrew started their career as a Graduate Trainee Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1999. Andrew then worked as a Business Process Re-engineering Consultant at Meridian Productivity Limited in 2000, and as a Business Analyst at GroupTrade.com.

In 2002, Andrew joined Laculine Ltd. as a Business Analyst and Company Secretary, where they managed a team of Russian-speaking developers and conducted client visits, business analysis, and project management. Andrew also successfully led the company through a financial restructuring.

Andrew then moved to Thomas Murray in 2005, where they held the position of Head of Operations & Development. Andrew led a team of developers in Ukraine and staff in London, overseeing the development of analytical services and software applications for investment banks and institutional investors. Andrew also supervised IT services and guided clients' multi-national implementation teams.

From 2009 to 2012, Andrew worked at BeyondTrust as a Corporate Development Summer Associate. Here, they investigated targets for M&A strategies and oversaw the integration of an ongoing acquisition. Andrew also researched and evaluated options for the redevelopment or divestiture of a product.

In 2010, Andrew returned to Thomas Murray and took up the role of Head of Research and Product Development for Thomas Murray IDS. Andrew led research and product development efforts, focusing on regulatory-driven market opportunities in asset servicing and investment management. Andrew designed analyses and benchmarks for institutional investors and managed business change during the separation of business activities.

In 2014, Andrew took on additional responsibilities as the Director of Thomas Murray Systems, where they were responsible for the team and contracts to provide outsourced IT and development services. Andrew also managed portfolio companies and evaluated new projects.

Andrew also had roles outside of Thomas Murray. In 2014, they became the Managing Director of Trayned Insight, overseeing the research and development of Trayned Insight's healthcare data science service. Andrew developed Trayned Pioneer, a data analysis tool for healthcare systems.

In 2015, Andrew joined Katharine Hamnett as the Head of Technology, where they developed the strategy and business model for reintroducing the brand to the direct-to-consumer market. Andrew oversaw all technology functions, legal issues, and third-party integrations.

Most recently, as of 2020, Andrew became the Chief Administrative Officer at Thomas Murray. Andrew is responsible for administration, strategy, corporate development, and oversight of technology functions. Andrew is also leading the Thomas Murray Digital business line, focused on assessing the capabilities and risks of digital asset custodians and exchanges.

Andrew Wright completed their education at two prestigious institutions. Andrew earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance and Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they studied from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended the University of St Andrews from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Russian with honors (MA [Hons]).
