Long before we had Linked In and motivational speakers, Thomas Wolsey proved that you don’t have to be born into a wealthy or influential family to achieve success.
  
The son of an Ipswich tradesman, Thomas Wolsey rose to become one of the most influential people in Tudor England. On the 550th anniversary of his birth, led by @Ipswich Central, @Ipswich Borough Council, @Suffolk Archives, and supported by the @HeritageFundUK, local organisations and businesses have collaborated to launch an 18 month project to celebrate the legacy Wolsey left for Ipswich.
