Casey Brown

Casey Brown, PE, SE, LEED AP, is a Senior Structural Engineer at Thompson Engineering since November 2015, bringing extensive experience in civil engineering. Prior to this role, Casey took a year-long break to travel throughout the Americas, volunteering and immersing in diverse cultures. From 2004 to 2014, Casey served as a Project Manager at LBYD, Inc., collaborating with architects and contractors to deliver well-designed projects. Earlier experience includes roles as a Construction Coordinator at Southern Company Services from 2000 to 2004, and as an Avionics Technician in the United States Marine Corps from 1995 to 1999, where responsibilities included repairing electronic systems for military aircraft. Academic credentials include a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
