John Baker

John Baker has over 40 years of experience in civil engineering and project management within the water resources sector. Since 1991, John Baker has served as President of Thompson Engineering, providing overall operational leadership. Previous roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Strategic Officer at TCO, Inc., and Vice President of the Water Resources Division at Thompson Engineering, where John Baker was responsible for various aspects of marine and waterfront development, construction management, and engineering planning. John's earlier experience includes positions as Facilities Engineer with the Alabama State Port Authority and Senior Project Engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where responsibilities included managing navigation channels and resource projects. John Baker earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama.
