Ryan Scott is an architect at Thomson Reuters, where they have developed UI, front end, middle tier, and content delivery software for a major online application since 2007. They have participated in one of the largest Agile software projects in the United States and designed cloud-native microservices for multiple products. Ryan has contributed to guidelines for public cloud usage and has provided guidance on reducing cloud expenses. Prior to their current role, Ryan worked as a scientist at the University of Minnesota, focusing on genetics and molecular biology research. They earned a PhD in Genetics and a BA in Chemistry and Biology from the University of Minnesota Morris.
