Ming Zeng

Ming Zeng is a seasoned professional in naval architecture and structural engineering with extensive experience across various companies in the offshore oil and gas sector. Currently, senior naval architect at THOR Solutions, LLC since September 2024, Ming previously held the position of structural engineer at Ellicott Dredges and worked as a freelance structural analysis engineer. Notable roles include principal structural engineer at China Merchants Group and OffshoreTech, as well as project engineer and principal lead structural engineer at SBM Offshore, where significant contributions included leading turret and topside structural engineering for various FPSO projects. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Hydrodynamics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Wayne State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
