Thor products are designed and engineered in Australia for Australian conditions. As components are becoming increasingly sensitive to power anomalies, Thor products offer premium power protection and power filtration that cleans the sine wave and prevents line noise interference that in turn promotes performance and longevity of all types of electronic equipment.

As technology improves, components are far more sensitive to power irregularities. As power surges are the most common source of damage to electrical devices, most power utility companies recommend power-protective devices for sensitive electrical appliances. It is a frustrating reality that very rarely is any device in the home or business environment is receiving 240V through the mains. Examples of inconsistent power include flickering lights, hiss and thumping through speakers, set top box delays and system hangs and lockups.

Whether it be in the home or business environment, air conditioners, washing machines (changing cycles), kettles and fluorescent lights all contribute to damaging spikes and surges which will impede performance and decrease longevity in all types of electronic equipment.
