Ralf Hoffmann has extensive experience in the field of optical coherence tomography (OCT), having served as a Project Engineering Manager and Design Engineer at Thorlabs since December 2005. In these roles, Ralf has focused on product management, design, and integration of Fourier Domain OCT systems, covering mechanical, electrical, and firmware aspects. Prior to this, Ralf was a diploma student at Medizinisches Laserzentrum Lübeck from August 2004 to October 2005, where work centered on Fourier-Domain OCT. Ralf holds a Diplom-Ingenieur (FH) degree in Applied Physics from Technische Hochschule Lübeck, completed in 2005.
