Thornbridge Timber is a specialist Scottish supplier of timber and sheet materials, serving the construction, manufacturing and joinery sectors for over 30 years.

Established in 1992, the business originally operated from a sawmill in Grangemouth and went on to build a strong reputation across Scotland for the supply of structural timber, sheet materials and panel products. Thornbridge became known for product knowledge, consistency of supply and a practical understanding of the needs of trade and commercial customers.

Today, Thornbridge Timber operates from its Motherwell branch and is independently owned, continuing to serve customers across central Scotland and beyond. The branch is led by an experienced local team with deep technical knowledge of timber grading, specifications and applications — a strength that has always underpinned the Thornbridge name.

Our product range includes a comprehensive selection of:
	•	Structural and carcassing timbers
	•	Sheet materials and panels
	•	Joinery timbers
	•	Machined and value-added timber products

We work closely with established mills and suppliers to ensure consistent quality, reliable availability and products that meet current standards and specifications.

Thornbridge Timber’s focus is on doing the fundamentals well: strong stockholding, dependable service, and informed advice from people who understand timber. Many of our customers have worked with Thornbridge for years, and that continuity remains central to how we operate today.

A well-known Scottish timber specialist, proudly based in Motherwell.
