Greg Tjaden has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as an Audit & Tax Professional at Arthur Andersen from 1988 to 1991. Greg then worked as an Accounting Manager at the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation from 1991 to 1995, where they oversaw accounting and financial reporting functions. Greg joined Aquila in 1996 as a Finance Manager, responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory support. After that, Tjaden moved to the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation again, where they started as Asst. Vice President of Business Services in 2003 and was promoted to Vice President of Finance in 2005. From 2007 to 2009, Tjaden worked as a Finance Manager at Aptuit, providing financial reporting and analysis to the business line head. Greg has been employed as the CFO at Thorp Controls Automation Solutions since September 2009, overseeing financial reporting, cash flow management, and other responsibilities.
Greg Tjaden's education history starts with their high school education. From 1980 to 1982, they attended St. Cecilia High School. Greg then went on to attend Creighton Preparatory School from 1982 to 1984. After completing their high school education, Greg enrolled in the University of Notre Dame from 1984 to 1988. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. After completing their undergraduate studies, Greg furthered their education by pursuing an MBA at the University of Missouri-Kansas City from 1998 to 2002, specializing in Finance.
