Ben Leighton

Ben Leighton is an experienced risk management professional currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Thought Machine since March 2020. In this role, Ben supports the Board and Executive in establishing an effective risk management system while collaborating with Engineering and Client Services to enhance product and service resilience and security. Prior to Thought Machine, Ben held various positions including Director at Lindberg-Leighton Consulting, Principal at North Highland, and Senior Manager at Baringa Partners, where responsibilities focused on management consulting. Additionally, Ben contributed as Chief of Staff for the Pensions Dashboard Programme at Money and Pensions Service in 2019. Earlier career experience includes consulting at Accenture and serving as Circulation Manager at Citywire. Ben obtained a BSc in Biology from the University of Bristol and received education at St John's College, Harare, and John Lyons School, Harrow.
