Christian Peer

Christian Peer is a highly experienced software engineer with a robust background in developing and managing cloud-based solutions and security microservices. Currently a Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead Manager at Thought Machine since February 2017, Christian has previously contributed to Cisco in various capacities, including Software Engineer, where responsibilities involved developing security-as-a-service solutions and containerized applications using Java, Python, and Groovy in agile environments. Earlier roles included software development for hydraulic railway cranes at Palfinger and VoIP mixing systems at eurofunk Kappacher GmbH. Christian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Fachhochschule Salzburg, along with a brief tenure as a visiting research scholar at Cornell University.
