Scott Childs

Scott Childs is a seasoned recruitment professional with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as Recruitment Manager at Thought Machine since November 2019, Scott is responsible for driving recruitment and onboarding of technical talent across EMEA, AMER, and APAC while managing a team of recruiters. Prior to this role, Scott held various positions at Xcede from March 2018 to November 2019, including Senior Recruitment Partner and Recruitment Partner, specializing in placing Software Engineers in tech start-ups and scale-ups. Scott's recruitment career began at Cititec as a Technical Recruiter, followed by a role as Senior Consultant at Harrington Starr, focusing on Front End/UI Engineering talent within the FinTech sector. Scott holds a BSc in Physical Education and Youth Sport from Sheffield Hallam University and completed education at Castle Sixth Form and Kenilworth School & Sports College.
