Heather L.

Heather L. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Heather is currently working at ThoughtExchange as a Software Developer since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Richmond Soccer Association (RASA) as a Software Developer for a brief period from April 2022 to May 2022. Before RASA, Heather worked at the City of Richmond as a Software Developer from May 2021 to June 2021.

In 2020, Heather worked at the Provincial Health Services Authority as an Administrative Assistant in the Patient Care Quality Office from July 2020 to December 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Boughton Law Corporation as a Legal Assistant from October 2019 to June 2020.

Heather's early work experience includes working at Harrop, Phillips, Powell & Gray LLP as a Legal Assistant from August 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they managed a large number of files, organized documents, communicated with various stakeholders, and prepared court documents.

Heather's first work experience was as a Research Assistant at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC from September 2013 to May 2014.

Heather L. began their education at The University of British Columbia in 2012, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology. Heather completed their undergraduate studies in 2017. During their time at university, in 2016, Heather participated in an exchange program at Ritsumeikan University, focusing on Education - Language and Literacy Education.

In 2021, Heather enrolled at the British Columbia Institute of Technology for the Computer Systems Technology program. Additionally, they obtained a certification in BCITSA Peak Leadership from the BCIT Student Association in November 2021. Prior to this, in August 2016, Heather obtained a Teaching English As a Second Language (TESL) certification from TESL Canada.
