Matt Debock

Matt DeBock currently serves as VP Legal at ThoughtExchange since January 2023, where the focus is on enhancing AI-accelerated engagement and survey methodologies. Prior experience includes being a Charter Member at TechGC and holding multiple legal positions at Hootsuite, including Senior Legal Counsel and Lead Counsel for Enterprise & Ops, from March 2014 to August 2022. Earlier roles include Associate Counsel at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers and a Litigation Associate at McCarthy Tetrault. Earlier in their career, Matt DeBock worked as an English teacher at ECC Foreign Language Institute and as a journalist for various newspapers. Educational qualifications include an LL.B. from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Journalism with High Honours from Carleton University.
