Dave Gatto

Dave Gatto is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as a Board Member at Thousand since January 2021, Gatto focuses on enhancing safety in everyday products, beginning with innovative bike helmets. Past positions include CEO and Board Director at johnnie-O, where a range of lifestyle apparel is developed, President of VF Outdoor at VF Corporation, and President & Board Director at Reef. Gatto has also held significant roles as Chief Operating Officer at eToys and Syncronys Softcorp, and as CEO & Chairman of the Board at LA Gear. Additionally, Gatto has contributed to the boards of Stance Socks and Manduka, among others. An educational background includes a Master’s in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management and a Bachelor’s in Industrial & Nuclear Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
