David Dvorak

David Dvorak is an experienced professional in the field of autonomous systems, currently serving as Product Manager for Autonomous Systems and previously as Engineering Manager at Thread, a leading provider of cloud-based asset management software for the utility and renewable energy sectors. Prior to Thread, David held the position of Senior Manager for Payload Systems at American Robotics, contributing to the development of the first FAA-approved fully autonomous drones. David's entrepreneurial background includes founding Field of View LLC, which specialized in providing technology for high-quality aerial mapping. Additional experience includes academic roles at the University of North Dakota as a lecturer and UAS pilot, along with a position as Remote Sensing Systems Engineer at the Upper Midwest Aerospace Consortium. David Dvorak holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Dakota.
