Robert Liu

Robert Liu is an accomplished professional in the robotics and software development fields, currently serving on the Capture team at Airtonomy since March 2021, where responsibilities include utilizing drones for automated data capture for customer assets. Prior to that, Liu spent nearly six years at DJI, holding roles as a Robotics Engineer and Software Developer, where key achievements included designing a real-time aerial surveying payload and developing the DJI Onboard SDK. Additionally, Liu has experience as a Software Developer Manager for the DJI Phantom 3 product and led iOS application development at Hancock Software, Inc. Liu’s career began at Augmentum, Inc. as a Software Development Manager overseeing a team focused on Microsoft Windows Server and C++ SDET. Liu holds both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University, earned between 1997 and 2004.
