Cory Farris

Cory Farris is an accomplished IT security professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information assurance. Currently serving as the Manager of IT Security Architecture at THREAD, Cory evaluates and implements security best practices while overseeing endpoint detection and response procedures and security awareness training for the organization. Previous roles include Lead IT Specialist and IT Specialist at THREAD, Sr. Network Administrator at Millennia, and IT Support Analyst at VeraSci, where Cory was instrumental in developing a Security Awareness Training Program. Beginning a career in art and animation with roles such as Art Director and Senior Environment Artist, Cory transitioned to the IT field, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity & Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
