Dave Wilson

Dave Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of information technology, specifically in the pharmaceutical and clinical research sectors. Dave started their career in 1989 as a Manager of Clinical Data Systems at Organon Pharmaceuticals. From 1993 to 1996, they worked as a Systems Analyst at Sandoz.

In 1996, Dave joined ClinTrials Research Inc. where they held various roles including Senior Programmer/Analyst, Project Manager, Associate Director of Global Applications Development, and ultimately as the Director of Clinical Systems. Dave'sresponsibilities included the development and implementation of applications and planning for the company's technology infrastructure.

From 2000 to 2006, Dave served as the Senior Director of Information Technology at Kendle/Charles River Laboratories/Inveresk/ClinTrials Research Inc. During this time, they led the IT department and played a key role in integrating systems and restructuring teams during multiple company mergers.

In 2006, Dave joined UCB as the Associate Director of Global IT Clinical Development. Following the acquisition of Schwarz Pharma, they were appointed as the head of the clinical applications area and later served as the Director of Global IT Clinical Development/Regulatory Affairs. In 2013, they became the Director of Global IT Clinical Development and Strategic Partnerships, leading a team responsible for clinical research applications and driving strategic planning and product development.

Most recently, Dave joined THREAD in 2020 as the Director of Delivery, ensuring the deployment of the platform's functionality to meet the needs of customers and patients. Dave subsequently held roles as the Senior Director of Delivery and currently as the Senior Director of Solution Design.

Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated their ability to lead IT teams, implement technology solutions, integrate systems during mergers, and drive strategic planning in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries.

Dave Wilson obtained their Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology and a minor in Computer Science from Muhlenberg College from 1980 to 1984. Dave then pursued further education and completed their Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Software Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, which they attended until 1993.
