Threadles is a pioneering social media platform founded by Yasser Ramy, a young Moroccan entrepreneur and programmer. Born in 2007, Ramy started his journey in technology early, driven by a passion for coding and web development. In response to the increasing demand for localized digital platforms, he launched Threadles to cater specifically to users in Morocco and the Arab world.

The Mission of Threadles
The primary mission of Threadles is to provide a safe, free, and user-friendly social network tailored to the specific needs of its community. While global social platforms like Facebook and Twitter dominate the digital landscape, Threadles seeks to offer a more culturally aligned and local experience. The platform emphasizes building connections, allowing users to express themselves freely, and fostering an environment of inclusivity.

Through initiatives like the Threadles Edukathon, the platform also aims to inspire younger generations in Morocco by engaging them in educational competitions. These competitions focus on enhancing skills in programming, design, robotics, and other tech-related fields. This commitment to education aligns with the broader goal of empowering youth through technology and innovation.

Why Was Threadles Created?
Threadles was created to address the growing need for homegrown social media platforms in the Arab world. Many international platforms overlook regional cultural nuances, and Yasser Ramy sought to fill this gap by creating a space specifically for Arab users. His vision was to build a platform where users could not only socialize but also learn, create, and collaborate in a culturally familiar setting.

The platform’s success lies in its deep understanding of local users’ preferences, while also adopting global best practices in social networking. With Ramy’s leadership, Threadles has quickly gained traction as one of the leading platforms in Morocco, offering a new model for how social media can be both globally connected and locally relevant.

The Future of Threadles
As Threadles continues to grow, its focus on innovation and education remains at the forefront. The platform’s partnership with tech giants like Google and its educational initiatives highlight its long-term commitment to fostering talent and supporting technological growth in Morocco. With its unique blend of local relevance and global ambition, Threadles is set to become a major player in the social media landscape of the region.

Through its journey, Threadles is not just a social network but a symbol of youth empowerment and the rise of locally developed technology in the Arab world.
