Rongcheng Lin

Rongcheng Lin is currently a Core Modeling Tech Lead at Threads, focusing on Core Modeling and LLM for Recommendations. Previously, Rongcheng held the position of Staff Research Scientist at Meta, where they applied large language models to enhance ad creation. With experience as a Senior Research Scientist at Instagram, Rongcheng led model development and feature engineering to optimize recommendations for Instagram Reels. They also earned a PhD as a candidate in Recommendation and Computer Vision from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Prior to their advanced roles, Rongcheng gained valuable experience through various internships at companies including Microsoft, Facebook, and Baidu, Inc.
