From 2014-2016, they were an Independent Contractor as a Product Management Consultant. From 2010-2014, they were a Senior Product Manager at Cricket Media, and from 2004-2008, they were a Senior Product Manager, AOL Travel Properties, Product Manager, Local Search, and Product Manager, Travel Search at AOL. Lastly, from 2007-2008, they were a Product Manager at Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive, and a Consultant at Intelligize, Inc. from 2007-2008.

Jay Brooke graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. In 2008, they obtained a Scrum Master Certification from the Scrum Alliance. In 2019, they achieved an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance.
