Jie Chen

Jie Chen is currently the Head of the AI Lab at ThreatBook, utilizing their extensive background in data science and mathematics. Jie holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Washington and has prior experience as a Senior Applied ML Engineer at Microsoft, where they focused on intrusion detection for cloud services. Jie's past roles include research and teaching positions, where they developed innovative methodologies in areas such as seismic tomography and electromagnetics. With expertise in machine learning, large-scale data, and communication, Jie is adept at translating complex concepts across teams.
