Stan Ivanov

Stan Ivanov has a diverse work experience in the technology and cybersecurity field. Stan is currently the CTO and Founder of ThreatMate, a cybersecurity platform that assists mid-sized companies with attack surface reduction, risk scoring, and IT compliance. Prior to this, they held the role of Executive Cybersecurity Advisor for various companies from January 2020 to January 2023. Stan also served as the Senior Director of Technology Strategy at Thrasio, where they led teams focused on e-commerce technology, including automation, big data, cybersecurity, and compliance. Stan founded and was the CEO of Secure Monkey, where they developed an enterprise-grade file encryption platform. Stan also spent over a decade at SevOne, leading software engineering teams for the company's core NMS product, and was instrumental in delivering timely software releases. Stan started their career as an Application Developer and Computer Forensics lead at Digital Legal, LLC, where they developed software for handling Electronic Data Discovery. Stan has also gained experience as a Web Server Administrator at Goldey-Beacom College and as a Web Site Designer and Administrator for Star Automotors LLC.

Stan Ivanov attended Goldey-Beacom College from 2005 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Security and Computer Forensics. Afterward, from 2006 to 2009, they continued their studies at Goldey-Beacom College and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management. In May 2009, they also obtained the certification of Certified Computer Examiner from the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE).
