Krishna Bala

Krishna Bala is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering leadership, particularly within the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at ThreatModeler Software, Inc. since November 2024, Krishna previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Engineering at Proscia, focusing on AI-enabled digital pathology. Key roles also include Vice President of Engineering at ResMed, where development of SaaS cloud-based Electronic Healthcare Records and Data Analytics was led, as well as similar positions at MatrixCare and SigmaCare. Earlier in the career, Krishna was Chief Strategy Officer at Princeton Optronics and Executive Vice President at OCLARO. As a founder and CTO of Tellium, Krishna played a crucial role in the development of innovative optical switching products. Krishna holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, obtained between 1986 and 1992.
