Joel Esler

Joel Esler brings over twenty-five years of experience in security research and innovation. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Security, Research, and Intelligence at ThreatSTOP, Inc., where they lead a team focused on enhancing customer defense mechanisms against network threats. Joel has previously held leadership roles at Cisco Talos Intelligence Group and served as Mayor and Councilman for the Town of Townsend. They have contributed to various organizations, including the SANS Institute and the Shadowserver Foundation, and hold multiple certifications in cybersecurity and vulnerability assessment.
