Adam Mitchell has a diverse work experience. Adam started their career as a Student at Northumbria University from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they also worked as a Student Solicitor at the Student Law Office from 2012 to 2013. Following their graduation, Adam worked as a Mortgage Broker at London & Country Mortgages from 2013 to 2014. Adam then joined on:trac IT Solutions as a Test Manager from 2014 to 2017. Afterwards, they worked as a Senior Software Test Engineer at tombola from 2017 to 2018. Adam then moved on to Nonlinear Dynamics, a Waters Company, where they served as a Senior Software Test Automation Engineer from 2018 to 2019. Most recently, they have held positions at Thredd, starting as a Software Engineer In Test from 2019 to 2020, then as a Test Engineering Manager from 2020 to 2022, and currently as the Head of Quality Engineering.

Adam Mitchell has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Northumbria University, which they obtained between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Whickham School from 2002 to 2009. Adam also holds various certifications, including "BDD with SpecFlow Masterclass" from SpecFlow in 2021, "DevOps Foundation" from DevOpsInstitute in 2020, "Agile Software Testing Extension" and "Foundation in Software Testing" from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2016 and 2015 respectively.
