Alon Rotem

Alon Rotem is currently the Chief Legal Officer at thredUP. Prior to this, they served as the General Counsel at Rocket Lawyer from January 2013 to December 2016. Before that, they were a Senior Associate at Goodwin from January 2010 to December 2013 where they focused on representing technology companies and venture capital firms in mergers and acquisitions, equity and convertible debt financing transactions. Alon also regularly advised CEOs and Boards on corporate governance matters.

From January 2007 to December 2010, Rotem worked as an Associate at Ropes & Gray LLP. Alon then went on to found Digital Platinum Entertainment in January 1999, which they ran until December 2001.

Alon Rotem obtained their Juris Doctor from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law, with a Law & Technology Certificate. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.

Alon Rotem reports to James Reinhart, Founder & CEO. They work with Anthony Marino - President, Natalie Breece - SVP, People, and John Freidl - VP, Automated & Industrial Engineering.
