Artem Zhmakin

Artem Zhmakin has a strong background in software engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Artem is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at thredUP, where they are responsible for architecting, building, maintaining, and enhancing scalable solutions. Prior to that, Artem worked at Lohika as a Frontend Technical Lead, driving the development of a robust CRM system for B2B and B2C clients. Artem also served as a Team Lead JavaScript Software Engineer, establishing and leading a new scrum unit and delivering a rapid Proof of Concept (POC) version. Artem's previous experience includes roles at Intellias as a Senior Frontend Developer and Team Lead, where they optimized the delivery process of a legacy SaaS platform, and at GoDaddy as a Frontend Software Engineer, specializing in RIA research and enterprise development. Before that, Artem worked as a Frontend Engineer at Carpe Diem WS, focusing on delivering comprehensive front-end applications and showcasing their proficiency in various frontend technologies.

Artem Zhmakin holds a Master's Degree in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance, which they obtained from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, where they studied from 2009 to 2014. Artem also pursued a Master's degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the same university, studying from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, Artem holds a Master's degree in Economics from Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University, which they completed from 2007 to 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Artem received the Certified Agile Leadership certification from the Scrum Alliance in March 2020. In February 2020, they obtained the Continuous Coach Education (CCE) certification from the International Coach Federation.
