Derek Ritchison has had extensive work experience in the IT field. Derek started their career as a Customer Service representative at Target in 2002 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined The UPS Store as a Customer Service representative and worked there until 2014. In 2013, they interned as a Support Services Technician at The Blake School. In 2014, they became an IT Coordinator at Salesian Academy and worked there until 2015. Derek then moved to Hampton Creek, where they served as an IT Manager from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are employed at thredUP, where they have held various roles including IT Systems Administrator, Senior IT Systems Administrator, IT Systems Engineer, and currently, they hold the position of Sr. IT Systems Engineer. Derek Ritchison obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Minnesota in the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato between 2001 and 2006. In 2014, Derek acquired an Apple Certified Support Professional certification.
