Elan Nguyen

Elan Nguyen has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. They began their career as a Sales Associate at TJ Maxx, where they provided excellent customer service and built customer loyalty. They later worked as a Team Member at Milk & Cream Cereal Bar, gaining experience in a fast-paced customer service environment and collaborating with well-known brands and personalities. Elan also interned as a Branding Strategy Intern at Jacks., where they helped develop rebranding strategies for the company.

They further pursued a role as an SGA Senator for Racial and Ethnic Equity at the Fashion Institute of Technology, advocating for inclusivity and representing the student body. Elan also held positions as a Campus Director at Bumble, leading a team and promoting the empowerment of young women and femmes, and as a Branding Strategist at Change + Crew, focusing on ethical and sustainable branding. Additionally, they worked as a Freelance Horticulturist at Greenery NYC and as a Horticulturist at Natty Garden.

Most recently, Elan joined Haddad Brands as a Sourcing Associate, utilizing their skills in sourcing and procurement. Prior to this, they served as a Brand Ambassador at thredUP, creating social media content to promote sustainable fashion and circular consumption. Overall, Elan has demonstrated their versatility and commitment to various industries and causes throughout their work experience.

Elan Nguyen completed their high school education at Nanuet Senior High School from 2014 to 2018. Following that, they attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2018 to 2020, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Fashion Business Management. Subsequently, Elan continued their education at the Fashion Institute of Technology from 2020 to 2021 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Trade and Marketing. In addition to their academic qualifications, Elan also obtained certification as a Microsoft Office Specialist in Excel 2016 from Microsoft in December 2018.
