Sean Sobers

Sean Sobers is the CFO at thredUP. Prior to thredUP, Sean was the Chief Financial Officer at Quantenna Communications from July 2016 to August 2019. At Quantenna, Sean was responsible for leading the successful sale of the company to ON Semiconductor and successfully taking the company public. Sean has a proven track record of setting and meeting financial goals and guiding companies through periods of rapid growth. Sean is a strategic thinker who excels at identifying opportunities and developing creative solutions to complex problems. Sean is an effective communicator and has a strong track record of presenting to investors, customers, and partners.

Sean Sobers graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California. Sean then went on to earn their Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California - Marshall School of Business.

Sean Sobers reports to James Reinhart, Founder & CEO. Cora Buel - SVP, Finance & Treasury, Popi Heron - VP, Corporate Controller report to Sean Sobers. They work with David Grumm - VP, Engineering, Anthony Marino - President, and Chris Homer - COO & Co-Founder.
