Tamara Dyer

Tamara Dyer has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Tamara'smost recent position was as a Senior Visual Designer contractor at thredUP, starting in July 2020. Prior to that, they were self-employed as a Senior Brand Designer/Art Director since June 2019. Tamara also worked as a Senior Brand/Visual Designer at Filter contracted to Brandless from November 2018 to May 2019, where they collaborated with the copywriter and marketing team to create engaging emails and social media assets. Tamara also worked with the growth marketing team to create and edit digital content and designed PR lookbooks, catalogs, and the welcome kit experience. Before that, they were a Senior Designer at Filter contracted to Google from June 2018 to November 2018. Tamara worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at method products, pbc. from November 2009 to June 2018, where they led design for the cleaning, dish, and air care business and developed seasonal limited edition packaging artwork. Tamara also worked as a Design Consultant at Oracle from July 2008 to September 2009, creating event signage and designing magazine covers and spreads. Tamara was self-employed as a Freelance Graphic Designer from January 2007 to July 2009, where they designed corporate identity systems and websites and art directed and designed magazine covers and spreads. Lastly, they worked as an Art Director at Montgomery Research from April 2004 to December 2006, where they art directed and designed a magazine and collaborated on thought leadership books.

Tamara Dyer holds a Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Florida. In 2017, they participated in a Professional Writing Workshop at UC Berkeley Extension. Additionally, they completed a course in Generative Art Processing at the Grey Area Foundation of the Arts in 2013. Tamara also pursued further education in motion design and animation, undertaking an After Effects Kickstart course at the School of Motion in 2019. In 2018, they obtained a degree in Javascript for Designers from SuperHi.
