Vignesh Subramanian

Vignesh Subramanian has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data engineering and business intelligence. Vignesh started their career as a Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they worked on designing and developing solutions for financial exchanges. Vignesh then moved on to Texas Tech University, where they worked as a Web Applications and Database Developer, focusing on developing in-house web applications and creating data marts. After that, Vignesh joined MISOM Technologies as a Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Engineer, where they were responsible for developing ETL solutions, dimensional modeling, and implementing security measures for analytical tools and databases. Currently, they are working at thredUP as a Lead Data Engineer/Data Architect, where they are involved in designing and building data warehouses, developing ETL/ELT processes, and creating data marts for analytical models.

Vignesh Subramanian holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Information Systems, specializing in Business Intelligence & Analytics, which was obtained from Texas Tech University. Prior to their postgraduate studies, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Anna University. Additionally, Vignesh obtained the Sun Certified Programmer for JAVA 2, Standard Edition 5.0 certification from Sun Microsystems in June 2009. Before their university education, they completed the All India Secondary School Certificate Examination from Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in 2002.
