Pete Tong has a diverse work experience in the music industry. Pete started their career in 1983 as an A&R director at London Records/FFRR, where they worked until 2001. In 1991, they began their role as a DJ/broadcaster/selector at BBC Radio 1/Clear Channel/I Heart Radio. In 2001, they founded Tong Songs, where they worked as a composer/producer/film scorer/commercial syncs artist. From 2001 to 2019, they also worked at Alchemist Media as the bossman. In 2008, they joined William Morris Endeavor as a partner, and in 2011, they became the A&R director at FFRR/Warner Music. Currently, they hold the position of President at Three Six Zero, starting from June 2019.
