Julien Coiffier has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Julien is currently the Head of Operations at Three Trees since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Prime Roots from October 2020 to March 2023, holding the positions of Head of Commercialization and Business Operations Manager. Before Prime Roots, Julien worked at Three Trees from 2018 to 2020, where they held various roles including Business Analyst, Sales and Sales Analyst, and Sales, Marketing, and Operations support. Julien co-founded Julien & Noé, a vegan business in the Bay Area, in 2015, where they were responsible for finances, operations, and general organization. Additionally, they have experience as a Market Research Analyst at Physique-Chimie Avenir and a Research Intern at Calyxia. Julien also had an internship at Saint-Gobain, where they worked on R&D development and supported the Competence Center team.
Julien Coiffier earned a Baccalauréat degree in Sciences from Lycée de Villaroy - Guyancourt in 2010. Julien then pursued a Classe préparatoire intégrée in Chimie physique at Ecole nationale supérieure de Chimie de Rennes from 2010 to 2012. Following that, from 2012 to 2016, they attended ESPCI Paris - PSL and obtained a degree in Chimie physique. In 2015, they participated in the Learn2Launch program in Start-up initiation at the University of California, Berkeley. In 2016, they pursued an intensive Master's Degree program in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at École Polytechnique.

Three Trees strives to delight and nourish the world through pure and delicious nutmilks made only with ingredients directly from nature. In an increasingly engineered and optimized world, we believe that the best things really do come from nature. That’s why we carefully craft our nut and seed milks from the highest quality, fresh whole ingredients, and we never use preservatives, gums or anything artificial. Our milks are naturally nourishing and incredibly delicious. Growing up, founder Jenny Eu used to go hiking with her grandmother, who picked plants straight from the forest to make healthful foods. Today, grandma’s philosophy guides us at Three Trees, where we use only whole plant-based ingredients. Like grandma, we believe that true nourishment comes directly from nature. Three of the Chinese characters for tree 木 make up the character for forest 森.
