Teresa Larson has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Teresa started their career in 1995 as an Army Family Team Building Volunteer, teaching self-improvement and leadership to Army spouses and soldiers. Teresa also served as a Family Readiness Group Leader, organizing meetings and social events for Headquarters and Headquarters Company 2/327.
In 2002, they joined Johnson Controls as part of the Army Community Service team. Here, they were responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating events for the Army Family Team Building program, the Army Family Action Plan, and the Family Readiness Group Program.
From 2004 to 2011, Teresa worked at DefenseWeb Technologies, Inc. as an Internet Specialist. Teresa'sresponsibilities included managing technical support and policy feedback for the site, receiving content from the Family Morale and Welfare Recreation Center, and conducting trainings for ACS staff from various Army installations.
Teresa then worked at SC3 from 2011 to 2019, starting as a Technical Support II/System Analyst I. In this role, they managed technical support and resolved complex problems for users. Teresa also received content for the site from the Installation Management Command and ensured its proper placement.
Currently, Teresa is a Scrum Master/Product Owner at Three Wire Systems since 2019. Teresa'sresponsibilities include providing Scrum Master leadership for an application development team, facilitating Scrum ceremonies, advocating for the team, and coaching the team in agile practices for reaching program goals and deliverables.
Teresa Larson has a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University, which they obtained from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education from Fayettville State University between 1993 and 1995. In addition to their academic qualifications, Teresa has obtained several certifications related to Scrum and Agile methodology. Teresa became an Advanced Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in May 2022. Before that, in October 2019, they obtained the Scrum Alliance Certified Product Owner certification, and in October 2020, they earned the Scrum Master Certified credential from the Scrum Alliance.
