Brett Carter

Brett Carter has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry. Their most recent role was as the VP of Engineering at ThreeFlow, where they built an agile product delivery organization and successfully launched a broker feature that generated over $55 million in premium. During their time at ThreeFlow, they also hired three engineering leaders and doubled the size of the engineering team in just two quarters. Prior to ThreeFlow, Brett served as the Head of Engineering at Fairygodboss, where they led the engineering organization and implemented cost-saving measures through migrating the data warehouse to the cloud. Brett also implemented a machine learning algorithm to improve job applications by 50%. Before that, Brett held various roles at AppNexus, including Director of Engineering, Web Services, Engineering Manager for Real Time APIs, and Engineering Manager for Yield Management. Brett has also worked at Janrain, Inc. as a Sr. Software Architect and Team Lead for Capture, and at Idealist.org as a Software Engineer. Brett began their career as the Director of Technology at PheedYou, Inc. and worked as a Software Development Manager and Product Development Engineer at Kavi Corporation. Throughout their career, Brett has demonstrated a strong ability to lead teams, implement strategic initiatives, and deliver successful outcomes in both large and small organizations.
